Electrical ring terminals what is the difference between K.S 12-10 AWG and P 12-10 I use the K.G all the t?
the time on my boat for 12 volt apps. But I am connecting an electrical pump to my marine air conditioner unit and I pulled a ring terminal off the old pump where it connects to the a/c unit and the yellow ring terminal says P 12-10 and I need to know can I use the K.S 12-10 in this application as I can not find a P 12-10. The P 12-10 seems stronger than the K.S 12-10 yellow terminal.
I was going to splice the wires between the pump and the a/c unit but decided against it as it may cause a warranty problem with the pump.

Yes, any brand ring terminal for 12-10 gauge wire will work fine as long as the wire fits in the crimp part and you can crimp it properly. The ring also needs to be the same size as the original.
