Or Bret is the special referee in Undertaker Vs Shawn Micheals title match at Wrestlemania26. WWE plans to break Taker's run and put the title on Shawn but Bret screws the whole plan and counts a quick pin by Taker on Shawn?

One, as has been stated, Bret is locked into a talent contract, any breach, whether a swerve by going to TNA or Fast-Counting a Mania Match would get him sued so fast it'd give him whip lash
IF and its a big IF, he jumps to TNA (loop holes being what they are) He'd be buried and misused worse than Foley, and any legacy he has in the business would be pissed on
the Mania ideas are more plausible (yet still improbable) but WWE would simply declare no contest and void the match but WWE won't put the SD! belt on HBK, his light schedule, and annual Summer Vacations wouldn't allow it especially at Mania... a Bret Screws Shawn storyline might be part of there plan... It keeps the streak going and Bret Gets even in the eyes of the fans
to those people decrying the PG era and wishing that a TNA challenge would end it, get a clue PG is here for a good 5-10 years (now TNA might be a threat at that time, but the rating won't be cause and effect) when WWE (then WWF) went national and ended the territory days, they product was essentially PG (MPAA-like TV ratings are a late 90's addition) you fail to realize that 'Hardcore and Extreme are 90's concepts, ECW was never mainstream, and for a reason
also keep in mind that the span between TLC and the Rumble is 7 weeks, and even during the over-nostalgia-fied Attitude Era the Christmas episode was often goofy, and rather dispensable to any real plot lines...
now while I do hope TNA does raise the bar and makes Vince sweat a little, it will come in time, and not because they resurrect the nWo (or what ever crappy, not-a-copyright-infringement-name they assign to Hogan's Hench-monkeys, but rather it will be through in-ring innovation, which they have in spades, and superior writing and production which they need to work on. last impact Foley jumped Nash in the empty arena... this Monday HBK and HHH found the 'Rabbit-Hole' to Little Peoples Court in an Empty Arena... one looked like a low-rent High School Gym, the other a home to actual sporting events.
