I use a Powershot SD400 for a "walkaround" camera. You should be happy with the A560. As always though, you get out of it what you put into it. In other words, take time to study the manual and experiment and learn. You are cheating yourself if you only put it in AUTO and expect great results. It just does not work that way, nor does any camera.
