how do i test my engine temperature control switch on 95 maxima. how many are there? also, how do i replace it if its bad. when i start the car in the morning i have idle problems, idle drops and engine turns off. i have to hold the gas pedal for a few mins. after a few mins. car runs great.
If you are talking about the engine-coolant temperature sensor/switch then its located under the throttle cables and to check it you use a vehicle computer scanner to compare the reading that you have now to the factory readings both cold and hot....one sender..
